In the Chuhuiv community, special training of civil defense forces was conducted, during which they practiced algorithms for actions in the event of a prolonged disruption of electricity and water supply.

As reported by the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Halyna Minaeva, for a community operating in wartime, such scenarios are quite real. Therefore, the main goal of the exercises is to check in advance the readiness of all services for possible emergencies and identify weak points.
During the training, they simulated a situation of a prolonged power outage, which could affect the operation of water supply systems and other life support facilities.
The participants of the exercise practiced the interaction and management of services, operational information exchange, the work of utility companies, backup provision of critical infrastructure, water transportation and delivery. They also simulated assistance to medical and social institutions, work with a large number of citizen appeals, and crisis communications.
Separately, they considered scenarios in which the emergency situation lasts for 24 hours or more. In such conditions, Galina Minaeva emphasized, clear management, sufficient reserves, staff shift work, well-established logistics, and constant monitoring of the situation are necessary.
«"For me, it is fundamentally important that in such matters we do not wait until a problem arises, but check our own readiness in advance, find weaknesses and correct them," the head of the MBA noted.
The exercises were attended by employees of the city military administration, city council, municipal enterprises, rescuers, law enforcement officers, doctors, representatives of the social sphere, village elders, and other community services.
According to Halyna Minaeva, it is impossible to foresee all the challenges that war may bring. At the same time, early practice of crisis scenarios makes it possible to increase the resilience of the community and its ability to provide people with the necessary things even in difficult conditions.
