The Chuguiv community received five powerful generators to provide backup power to heat supply facilities. The total cost of the equipment is about 2 million hryvnias.

This was reported by the head of the Chuguev city military administration, Galina Minaeva.

According to her, the new equipment will be an important reinforcement for the community's heating system, especially in the face of possible power outages.

The generators will provide backup power to heat supply facilities and maintain their operation in the event of power outages. This, in turn, will help heat generators continue to provide heat to community residents even under difficult conditions.

The equipment was transferred to the Chuhuiv community thanks to the support of the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine program.

«"For the Chuhuiv community, such support is not only modern equipment. It is confidence that we are better prepared for possible challenges, can strengthen the resilience of our critical infrastructure, and protect people from the consequences of war," noted Halyna Minaeva.

The Partnership for a Strong Ukraine Program is a multi-donor initiative funded by the governments of the United Kingdom, Estonia, Canada, Norway, Finland, Switzerland and Sweden. The Program aims to strengthen Ukraine’s resilience in the face of Russian aggression by providing critical support to local communities in collaboration with Ukrainian government agencies, civil society, media and the private sector.
