Recently, the Chuguiv City Council has been receiving complaints about changes in the quality of water supplied to homes through the centralized water supply system. This includes, in particular, cloudiness and discoloration of the water.

Separately, the city council received reports of fish deaths in certain areas of the Siverskyi Donets River.

The city council responded promptly to these reports.

Representatives of the Chuguiv City Council, together with relevant services, verified the facts set forth in the residents' appeal.

Namely: together with representatives of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, a field trip was conducted and water samples were taken from the Siverskyi Donets River for relevant laboratory tests.

Separately, the KP "Chuguyivvoda" took water samples from the centralized water supply system to check its quality. Currently, laboratory tests are ongoing, there are no final results yet. After receiving them, it will be possible to objectively assess the quality of the water and, if necessary, establish possible causes of the detected changes.

In addition to the sampling, the Chuguiv City Council has asked relevant enterprises and institutions to conduct the necessary inspections and provide information on the condition of water supply systems, the quality of drinking water and possible reasons for its changes. The City Council also emphasized the need to immediately identify the reasons and take necessary measures in case of deviations from regulatory indicators.

We are currently awaiting the results of laboratory tests, which will allow us to objectively assess the situation and determine the necessary further steps.

The Chuguiv City Council is monitoring the situation and will definitely inform residents about the results of the research and further measures after receiving official conclusions.
