Today we celebrate the Day of the Liberation of Chuguev from Nazi invaders.

In the morning, together with colleagues, we honored the memory of the fallen soldiers of World War II at the memorial. We laid flowers, bowed our heads and remembered those who, at the cost of their own lives, brought the liberation of our land closer. Behind each name on the memorial plaques is a human destiny, a family, dreams that never came true, and the enormous price that generations of our compatriots paid for a peaceful life.

Many decades have passed, but it is our duty to preserve this memory and pass it on to future generations. Especially today, when Ukraine is once again forced to defend its land, its cities, and its right to a free future.

We remember those who liberated Chugui back then. We thank those who defend it and Ukraine today. Eternal memory to the fallen soldiers. Eternal respect to all defenders who gave their lives for our freedom.

May the peace that generations of our Heroes dreamed of and fought for soon reign over Chuguev and all of Ukraine.
