Dear Chuguiv residents! Dear residents of the Chuguiv community!

Today, our native Chuguev turns 388 years old.

This is not just a date on the calendar. It is 388 years of history, memory, traditions, work, and love of many generations of people who have called and continue to call this city their home.

This year we are celebrating City Day again in a difficult time. The war changed our lives, brought pain and loss, and forced many Chugui residents to leave their homes. But it could not take away the most important thing from us – love for Chugui and faith in its future.

Our city has stood firm. And stands firm every day.

Thanks to our defenders who defend Ukraine. Thanks to rescuers, medics, utility workers, volunteers, entrepreneurs, educators, institutional employees, and everyone who does their job every day, supports others, and keeps our community going.

Chuguiv is, first and foremost, people. Strong, courageous, caring. People who know how to help, support each other, and even in the most difficult times, find the strength to do good deeds.

I sincerely thank each and every one who remains with Chuguev today, who works for the community, helps those around them, supports our soldiers, and believes in our common Victory.

I believe that the war will end. And then you and I will gather again in our central square. We will all gather together – those who stayed in Chuhuiv and those who will return home, our defenders, our children, parents, friends.

And it will be a celebration like no other that Chuguev has seen in its entire glorious history.

We will hug each other, laugh and cry with happiness.

I believe in this day. I believe in Chugui. I believe in its people.

And I know: no matter how difficult today's path may be, the future of our city will definitely be peaceful, happy, and beautiful.

I wish every family peace, health, goodness, and a speedy return to a normal, happy life.

May God protect our defenders.

May everyone we are waiting for return home.

May there be light, warmth and joy in every home.
