On the evening of May 20, Russian strike drones attacked the Chuguiv community. The shelling damaged buildings and caused two fires.
In the city of Chuguiv, rooms in a two-story building belonging to a local businessman were on fire. And on the territory of a gas station near the village of Kamyana Yaruga, two gas tanks, a stele, and grass caught fire. The station building was also damaged. According to preliminary data, a 40-year-old man was injured, who suffered an acute stress reaction.
Despite the threat of repeated attacks, operational units of the State Emergency Service and community rescue officers worked at the scene.







The police documented the consequences of enemy UAV strikes on the Chuguiv region.
On May 20, Russian troops launched an attack on the Chuguiv district, initially using two Geran-2 UAVs.
In the city of Chuguiv, a drone hit damaged the roof of a two-story building housing a post office and retail establishments.
Another strike was recorded near the village of Kam'yana Yaruga on the territory of a gas station. As a result of the strike, a gas pump tank caught fire, the facade and glazing of the gas station building were damaged. Police officers, together with medics, provided assistance to a 45-year-old employee who suffered an acute stress reaction.
Investigative and operational teams, forensic experts, explosives technicians, rescuers, and medics worked at the scene.
Based on these facts, investigators opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
