Dear residents of the Chuhuyiv community, dear fellow countrymen!
On May 8, we celebrate the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World War II - a day of deep respect for all who fought for freedom, who survived the terrible years of war, and who gave their lives for the sake of peace and the future of future generations.
Today, when the Ukrainian land is once again shaken by explosions, and our people are fighting every day for the right to live in a free and independent state, we feel especially acutely the price of peace, human life, and true freedom.
We remember the feat of those who defeated Nazism in the 20th century, and at the same time we bow our heads to modern Heroes - Ukrainian warriors who now defend our state, our cities and villages, our families and the future of Ukraine. History once again proves: evil will definitely be defeated when the people are united in the fight for truth and justice.
On this day, we thank veterans, children of war, and everyone who preserved the memory of those tragic events and passed it on to future generations. We remember everyone who did not return from the battlefield then and who gave their lives for Ukraine today.
May the memory of the past give us the strength to stand firm now. May peace, warmth, and faith in Victory reign in every Ukrainian family.
A bright memory to the fallen. Honor and gratitude to the living.
