Dear infantry soldiers!

I sincerely congratulate you on Infantry Day - the holiday of the courageous, indomitable, and devoted defenders of Ukraine.

Infantry is not just a branch of the army. It is the heart of the army, its character and steely endurance.

It is the infantryman who goes forward when shells whistle overhead, when the earth trembles, when it seems that the limit of human capabilities has long been crossed. But he stands. He stands for his brother, for his family, for Ukraine. Because in war, it is not only technology, not only weapons, not only strategy that decides. In war, it is the person who decides.

Behind you are peaceful cities, millions of Ukrainians, children who have a future only because you are holding the front today.

Every day of yours is a feat, a struggle, and another approaching day of our Victory.

We know the price of this struggle. It is terribly high. It is measured by fatigue, pain, injuries, sleepless nights, the loss of comrades. And that is why our gratitude to you is boundless. Because it is impossible to measure in words what you do for Ukraine every day.

On behalf of the entire Chuhuiv community, I thank every Ukrainian infantryman for their courage, for their indomitability, for their loyalty to the oath, and for the strength that holds our state together.

We bow our heads to the fallen Infantry Heroes.

We pray for those who are in battle today.

We believe in those who will certainly return with Victory.

I wish you to persevere, to preserve yourself, to return home alive.

And let the enemy remember one undeniable truth on every front line, in every battle, in every decisive assault: the Ukrainian infantry puts an end to it.

Sincerely, Head of the Chuguev City Military Administration Galina Minaeva
