During the extraordinary XXVIII session of the Kharkiv Regional Council, the Program for Supporting Agriculture in the Region for 2026 was approved, and the procedure for paying one-time financial assistance to farmers for field work was also approved, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Agricultural Office reported.

«"Despite the challenges of a full-scale invasion, farmers in the Kharkiv region continue to ensure the food and economic security of the region and the state. The regional program to support agricultural producers is designed to help our farmers successfully complete the 2026 sowing season and harvest. I am grateful to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Council, Tetyana Yehorova-Lutsenko, and the deputies for supporting important regional initiatives," said Oleg Synegubov.

The Program provides for one-time financial assistance to agricultural producers who cultivate no more than 500 hectares of land. For each hectare of cultivated area, a payment of 100 hryvnias is provided. The maximum amount of assistance is 50 thousand hryvnias per recipient. The estimated amount of funding for the program is almost 14.8 million hryvnias, added the head of the Kharkiv Agricultural Development Department.
