A working meeting with the heads of the boards of condominiums was held in the Chuhuiv community, dedicated to the current issues of social protection of the population, support for veterans, and the implementation of energy efficiency programs in the housing sector.

The meeting was opened by Deputy Mayor Kostyantyn Barmin, who emphasized the importance of consolidating the efforts of representatives of the condominium association and authorities to address the urgent needs of community residents.

One of the key issues on the agenda was the implementation of the state veteran policy at the local level. Head of the State Veterans Affairs Service Olena Kurylenko focused in detail on the mechanisms of working with veterans, their family members and internally displaced persons, emphasizing the need for special attention and sensitivity to the needs of this category of citizens.

Anna Shegera, a specialist in supporting war veterans and demobilized persons, spoke about practical assistance. She informed the audience about the algorithm for providing services by support specialists who help veterans adapt to civilian life and solve social and everyday issues.

The issue of social guarantees was continued by the chief specialist of the Chuguiv branch of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, Maryna Pylypenko. She provided explanations on the procedure for providing benefits and subsidies to community residents, and also answered relevant questions regarding the activities of the Pension Fund.

In turn, the head of the Chuguiv branch of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Kateryna Gass, presented the compensatory programs of the employment service, which can be useful to both residents and representatives of the housing and communal services sector in matters of employment.

A significant part of the meeting was devoted to issues of energy independence of the housing stock. Deputy Mayor Kostyantyn Barmin spoke about the conditions for participation in the “SvitloDIM” program, aimed at providing apartment buildings with autonomous energy sources. He emphasized that the program is available to condominiums, housing associations and building managers regardless of the form of ownership.

Head of Regional Managers of BO "HERC" Tetyana Belchykova presented available tools for energy modernization of buildings within the framework of the programs of the State Enterprise "Energy Efficiency Fund". The participants paid special attention to the discussion of technical and organizational issues regarding the installation of individual heat points (ITP), which will significantly optimize heating costs.

Summing up the meeting, the participants noted the constructive nature of the dialogue and confirmed their readiness for further cooperation to increase the level of comfort and safety of residents of apartment buildings in our community.
