The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, together with the Ukrainian Youth Foundation, announced the launch of a budget grant competition for 2026. This initiative is being implemented in accordance with the Law of Ukraine «On the Basic Principles of Youth Policy,» and 45 million hryvnias have been allocated in the state budget this year for the implementation of projects. The main goal of the competition is to ensure that young people in every community have equal access to tools for development and self-realization.

The entities that can receive a budget grant are:

youth and children's public associations;

young people;

representatives (members, participants) of youth councils, bodies (organizations) of student self-government;

youth workers;

youth advisors;

individuals - entrepreneurs and legal entities engaged in youth work.

The priority areas of grant support in 2026 have been identified as:

• development of resilience, a safe environment, accessibility and psycho-emotional well-being of young people (for individuals https://uyf.gov.ua/programs/blahopoluchchia-molodi-fo and for legal entities https://uyf.gov.ua/programs/blahopoluchchia-molodi-llc);
• promoting self-realization and economic empowerment of young people (for legal entities https://uyf.gov.ua/programs/ekonomichna-spromozhnist-llc and https://uyf.gov.ua/programs/ekonomichna-spromozhnist-fo for individuals).
