Due to constant hostile shelling of energy infrastructure facilities, the vast majority of residents of the Chuguiv community regularly face power outages. In conditions of chaotic outages, it is difficult for people to plan their time and maintain the usual rhythm of life, which naturally causes a lot of complaints.
The head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva, reported that she is in constant contact with the head of the Chuguiv REM, Andriy Semenov. According to him, currently the power system of Ukraine, in particular the Kharkiv region, is actually operating in manual control mode. Even in the absence of a general electricity deficit, the available equipment is not always able to transmit the necessary volumes to provide all consumers.
The situation is complicated by constant attacks by Russian troops in various parts of the region. New damage to power grids is forcing power engineers to temporarily shut down individual lines for emergency repair work. On some days, the breakdowns overlap, which means that there may be no electricity for longer than usual.
In addition, in the event of line overload, NPC Ukrenergo dispatchers make a decision to immediately disconnect in order to stabilize the network, which is immediately reported to specialists from JSC Kharkivoblenergo. Switching on occurs in the same way - immediately after voltage stabilization at the command of NPC Ukrenergo. Such measures are forced, and it is impossible to predict them in advance.
Experts explain: the shutdowns are necessary to avoid even larger and more chaotic accidents across the country, which would take much longer to eliminate.
At the same time, the Chuhuiv community is doing everything possible to ensure the uninterrupted provision of basic utilities despite the difficult energy situation. For security reasons, details are not being disclosed, but residents are urged to remain patient, united, and supportive.
«"I am confident that the Chuhuiv community will endure despite all temporary difficulties. We are together and we are invincible," emphasized the head of the Chuhuiv MVA, Galyna Minaeva.
