On January 1, 2026, the National Health Screening 40+ program began operating in Ukraine - a comprehensive preventive examination for people over the age of 40, which allows you to identify the risks of common non-communicable diseases at an early stage.

National Health Screening 40+ includes:
• questionnaire and assessment of individual risks (including cardiovascular disease, risk of type 2 diabetes, and mental health status);
• physical examination (blood pressure measurement, assessment of heart rate and rhythm, anthropometry);
• laboratory tests showing the functioning of the heart, blood vessels and kidneys;
• individual recommendations from a doctor regarding lifestyle and health status, and if necessary, prescription of medication or referral for further examinations or treatment.

At the end of this month, Ukrainians aged 40 and over will begin receiving the first notifications-invitations to undergo screening. Invitations will be sent to the Diya application on the 30th day after their birthday. After confirming participation in the program, 2,000 hryvnias will be credited to the Diya.Card within seven days. The funds are intended exclusively for paying for the screening. For those who do not use the Diya application, there is an opportunity to issue a bank card and submit an application through the ASN. This can be done 30 days after their birthday.

Healthcare institutions of various forms of ownership — state, municipal, and private — that meet the established requirements for specialists, equipment, laboratory capabilities, and level of service will be involved in the program. A person can choose any institution convenient for him or her from among the program participants — regardless of the place of registration or actual residence.
