In 41 territorial communities of the Kharkiv region, specialized commissions have formed 8,809 housing certificates to provide compensation for destroyed property for a total amount of over 11.8 billion hryvnias. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov.
With the help of housing certificates, compensation recipients have already purchased 4,517 real estate objects, including 3,742 apartments and 775 private residential buildings. The total cost of the purchased housing exceeds 9.3 billion hryvnias.
In total, more than 6,520 housing certificates issued for destroyed real estate were used. The vast majority of compensation recipients purchased housing in Kharkiv, Izyum and Balakliya territorial communities. Some applicants chose housing in Kyiv, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk and other regions of Ukraine.
«"The implementation of the eReconstruction program remains one of the priorities of the Kharkiv Regional Administration. Currently, this is the only effective mechanism for compensation for damaged and destroyed property. Thanks to compensation within the framework of the program, 6,456 apartments and 6,129 private residential buildings have already been restored in the Kharkiv region. We are accelerating the work of specialized commissions so that as many applicants as possible receive funds for repair, construction or can purchase new housing. We are constantly communicating with the Government, the Office of the President of Ukraine and specialized ministries to ensure full financing of the program in the region," said Oleg Synegubov.
Since the beginning of the implementation of the eRepair program in Kharkiv region, 63,992 applications have been submitted for financial assistance for the repair of damaged housing. The largest number of applications came from residents of Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Izyum districts.
41,769 applicants have already received compensation for the restoration of damaged housing, totaling over 4.2 billion hryvnias. Compensation for another 1,017 applicants has been approved and transferred for payment, totaling over 76.5 million hryvnias.
