In 41 territorial communities of the region, specialized commissions have formed 8,727 certificates to provide compensation for destroyed property for a total amount of over 11.7 billion hryvnias, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Disaster Management Office reported.
Using housing certificates, compensation recipients purchased 4,465 real estate objects within the region — 3,695 apartments and 770 private houses. The value of the purchased property exceeds 9.2 billion hryvnias.
A total of 6,460 housing certificates issued for destroyed real estate have already been used. Most of the compensation recipients purchased housing in Kharkiv, Izyum and Balaklia territorial communities, the rest in Kyiv, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk and other regions.
«"The implementation of the eRecovery program remains one of the priority areas of the Kharkiv OVA. We coordinate and accelerate the work of specialized commissions so that applicants receive funds for repairs, construction of housing or purchase of a new home as soon as possible. We work closely with the Government, the Office of the President of Ukraine and specialized ministries to fully finance the program in the region," said Oleg Synegubov.
Since the beginning of the implementation of the eRepair program in Kharkiv region, 63,654 applications for financial assistance for the repair of damaged housing have been submitted. The largest number of applications came from residents of Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Izyum districts.
41,698 applicants have already received assistance for the restoration of damaged housing, totaling over 4.2 billion hryvnias. For another 807 applicants, compensation has been approved and transferred for payment in the amount of over 69.6 million hryvnias.
