Since the beginning of the implementation of the e-Recovery program in 37 territorial communities of the Kharkiv region, specialized commissions have issued 7,469 certificates for compensation for destroyed property for a total amount of more than 9.8 billion hryvnias.
Recipients of compensation using housing certificates purchased 3,290 real estate objects in the Kharkiv region - 2,746 apartments and 544 private residential buildings. The total cost of purchased housing is over 7.2 billion hryvnias. Currently, more than 4,850 housing certificates received for destroyed real estate objects in the Kharkiv region have been used. Most of the compensation recipients purchased housing in Kharkiv, Izyum and Balakliysk territorial communities, the rest - in the territory of Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zakarpattia and other regions.
«"Kharkiv region remains a leader in the implementation of the eRecovery program. Currently, this is the only effective mechanism for compensating the civilian population for damaged or destroyed property as a result of the actions of the Russian occupiers. We are communicating with the relevant ministries and the Government so that the program in the region is fully funded. We are also accelerating the work of local commissions to record damage and assign compensation," said Oleg Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
Within the framework of the eVidnovlenie program, residents of the Kharkiv region submitted 58,583 applications for financial assistance for the repair of housing damaged as a result of the actions of the Russian occupiers. The largest number of applications were submitted by residents of Izyumsky, Kharkivsky, and Chuhuyivsky districts.
In addition, through the Diya application and portal, residents of the region submitted 207,450 information reports about damaged housing.
34,766 applicants have already received financial assistance for the repair of damaged housing, totaling more than 3.5 billion hryvnias. For another 2,791 applicants, compensation has been approved and transferred for payment in the amount of more than 219.6 million hryvnias.
