On July 23, the Chuhuivsk urban territorial community received an official delegation from the Chyhyrynsk urban territorial community of the Cherkasy region, led by the city mayor Viktor Anatoliyovych Kharchenko and the council secretary Vitaliy Oleksandrovych Shpychak.

This visit marked the beginning of our partnership within the framework of the national project «Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities». During the meeting, a corresponding memorandum of cooperation was signed, which opens up new opportunities for the exchange of experience, mutual support and implementation of joint initiatives aimed at the restoration, development and strengthening of the capacity of communities in war conditions.

– We demonstrated to our colleagues from Chyhyryn our key social and infrastructure facilities, in particular the Chuhuiv Central Hospital, the Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Children with Disabilities "SHANS" and the shelter of our community. During the visit, we had the opportunity to discuss practical aspects of working in conditions of long-term challenges caused by the war and share developed solutions, – said the head of the Chuhuiv City Military Administration, Halyna Minaeva. – I am convinced that the initiated cooperation will not be a formality, but a real tool for supporting and mutually strengthening communities. I am grateful to the Chyhyryn City Mayor and his team for their openness to partnership, constructive dialogue and sincere desire to develop intermunicipal cooperation.
