This week, a briefing meeting was held to discuss the Chuhuiv community’s cooperation in the new project «Reducing Threats to the Civilian Population of Ukraine through Strengthening Community Protection and Effective Civil-Military Interaction.» It is being implemented in Ukraine by the international non-governmental organization «Center for Civilians in Conflict» (CIVIC).

The meeting was attended by Igor Shepelev, Deputy Head of the Chuguiv MVA, employees of the civil defense department, heads of specialized services, a person authorized for community communication and veteran policy issues, as well as officers of the State Emergency Service and the National Police.

The issues of CIVIC's approach to strengthening the self-defense capacity of communities through the mechanism of the security working group and through the interregional communication platform, grant support to communities through an open competition were discussed.
