«"Almost 32 thousand residents of the Kharkiv region received compensation for damaged housing," - Oleg Synegubov

The issues of implementing the program "Evdennosti" and developing reconstruction projects in the region were discussed during a staff meeting chaired by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov.

Work continues in the communities of the Kharkiv region to fill in the State Register of property damaged and destroyed as a result of military aggression. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the enemy has damaged or destroyed over 80,000 objects, of which about 7,500 are high-rise buildings and 30,510 are private residential buildings. 

«"We are working closely with the regional council and relevant ministries to resolve issues of restoration and reconstruction of critical infrastructure, social facilities, housing, etc. Based on the results of the work, the relevant Ministry of Infrastructure reported that the Kharkiv region has entered the largest number of restoration projects into the DREAM system. The leaders in terms of the number of submitted projects in the region are the Kharkiv, Izyum and Balakliya communities," said Oleg Synegubov. 

Under the eVidnovlenie program, 1,573 residents of Kharkiv region have already sold housing certificates and purchased new housing for a total of 2.6 billion hryvnias. Using the certificates, applicants purchased 1,247 apartments and 326 private residential buildings. Most of the compensation recipients purchased housing in Kharkiv, Izyum and Chuhuiv territorial communities, the rest in Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zakarpattia and other regions.

«"Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba announced financial support for frontline communities of the state in the amount of 2 billion hryvnias. Thanks to the active cooperation of the OVA with communities, the Kharkiv region received over 500 million hryvnias in grant funds from the European Union. This is non-refundable assistance. The terms of the program provide for co-financing of projects by the regional budget and communities," said the head of the Kharkiv Regional Council, Tetyana Yegorova-Lutsenko. 

Within the framework of the eVidnovlenie program in the Kharkiv region, 31,688 people have already received compensation for the restoration of damaged housing, of which 14,400 for the repair of houses and 17,288 for apartments. About 3.2 billion hryvnias were credited to the applicants' accounts.
