Citizens of Ukraine aged 25 to 60 who are recognized as limitedly fit for military service are required to undergo a repeated medical examination by June 5, 2025.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the Law on Ensuring the Rights of Military Personnel and Police Officers to Social Protection (4235-IX).
The purpose of the Law is to extend the terms for citizens of Ukraine who have been recognized as limitedly fit for military service to undergo a repeated medical examination and determine the deadline for its conduct.
Citizens of Ukraine aged 25 to 60, recognized as limitedly fit for service, are required to independently obtain a referral to the VLK by contacting the district CCC and SP, or receive a referral through the electronic account of conscripts, conscripts and reservists (Reserv+).
Failure to comply or untimely compliance with the new norm will be qualified as an administrative offense, provided for in Article 2101 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
