Strengthening the region's defense capabilities is the most important task that the Kharkiv OVA has been carrying out since the first months of the full-scale invasion.

Supporting Ukrainian defenders and strengthening our positions is always a priority in budget expenditures.

Almost 3 billion hryvnias from the regional budget were allocated to the needs of the Defense Forces and security measures in the Kharkiv region.

«"As a result of effective communication with communities, almost 16 billion hryvnias were allocated from local budgets for defense capabilities. Thank you for the statesmanlike position!", said the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Synegubov.

Construction of fortifications, protection of the sky, procurement of UAVs and special equipment are what the regional authorities, communities, and local socially responsible businesses have been focusing on for three years in a row.
